I am a highly experienced Registered Nurse with 20 years of expertise, specializing in emergency medicine and interventional radiology. My passion for nursing stems from the joy of seeing the positive outcomes of helping patients and making a meaningful difference in their lives. I am particularly dedicated to patient education, ensuring individuals are informed and empowered throughout their healthcare journey.

Originally from El Paso, Texas, I relocated to Minnesota in 2023 to be closer to my grandchild. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, cycling, reading, and watching movies, which provide a perfect balance to my professional life. My commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care drives my ongoing dedication to the nursing profession.l-being of his patients. Practice Manager

Andy Manos is a dedicated Physician Assistant and Practice Manager with 8 years of experience in interventional radiology alongside Drs. Golzarian and Astani. In the realm of interventional radiology, he specializes in providing compassionate care and expertise in minimally invasive procedures. Building trust with patients is central to his practice, ensuring they feel comfortable and well-informed throughout their medical journey.

Beyond the medical field, Andy is an avid runner, finding solace and balance in the rhythm of each step. Fishing is another passion that allows him to unwind and connect with nature. His greatest joy is spending quality time with his wife and two boys, Rhett and Landon.

Andy believes in a holistic approach to healthcare, focusing on the overall well-being of his patients. Building strong connections and trust is the foundation of his practice. He continually strives to make a positive impact in the lives of those he serves.

Physician Assistant

Kayla is a Physician Assistant with more than 10 years of experience caring for patients. She is a member of the Minnesota Academy of PAs, the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Mary in North Dakota and her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of South Dakota. In addition to interventional radiology, she has worked in pulmonology and sleep medicine as well as in the urgent care fields.

Kayla is passionate about patient education. It’s always been her goal to partner with patients to help them make the best decisions about their health. She is an avid Minnesota Vikings fan, loves travelling, hiking, and enjoys spending time with her husband, family and friends.e.

Founder & Interventional Radiologist

Dr. Amin Astani is a distinguished graduate of the University of Minnesota Medical School. His venture into interventional radiology goes beyond medical expertise, embodying kindness, patient-centered care, and an unwavering commitment to improving lives.

Following his graduation, Dr. Astani completed his diagnostic radiology residency at the Henry Ford Hospital/Wayne State University, followed by a fellowship in vascular and interventional radiology at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, MI. Serving as Chairman of Radiology in multiple Chicago hospitals, his leadership style prioritized patient-centered care, ensuring that each individual received not just medical attention but a compassionate touch.

Dr. Astani’s expertise encompasses a wide range, from uterine fibroids, varicose veins, and varicoceles to addressing male infertility, benign prostate conditions, liver cancer, knee pain, and osteoporotic spine fractures. Beyond being a skilled medical professional, he stands as a community figure actively making a positive impact. Whether participating in conferences, delivering lectures, or engaging in mentorship, Dr. Astani’s commitment to sharing knowledge reflects a passion for empowering both patients and colleagues.

Founder & Interventional Radiologist, Professor of Radiology

Dr. Jafar Golzarian graduated magna cum laude from the University of Brussels School of Medicine in Brussels, Belgium. He completed his radiology residency at Erasme Hospital, University of Brussels School of Medicine, and then completed his fellowship training in interventional radiology at the same hospital. He is board-certified in interventional radiology and licensed in Minnesota to practice medicine.

He is a professor of interventional radiology at the University of Minnesota Medical School, where he became the first doctor to perform the prostate artery embolization (PAE) procedure in the United States. He was also one of the first interventional radiologists to perform uterine fibroid embolization (UFE). He has extensive experience in peripheral vascular disease and interventional oncology. Dr. Golzarian is a key opinion leader in the field of Interventional Radiology. He is the founder and course director of major meetings in the field including Global Embolization symposium and Technologies (GEST) and has authored more than 170 papers and more than 400 national and international lectures.
