    I grew up in South Florida and now reside in Minneapolis. In my free time, I enjoy walking around the lakes, spending time with my family, friends watching movies, and visiting museums. I also have a deep love for pets and love spending time with my furry friends. Above all, I find fulfillment in making a positive impact every day in our patients’ lives.

    Lisa grew up in Wisconsin and has been passionate about connecting with others since her first job in customer service nearly 15 years ago. After transitioning to the medical field in 2019, Lisa has brought her dedication to creating positive experiences for patients to every role she’s held.

    What Lisa loves most about customer service is the opportunity to make a difference—ensuring that clients leave happier than when they arrived. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring her creative side through gaming, drawing, and painting.

    Hi my name is Erika I am a receptionist here at NSVI. I am originally from Illinois and I came to Minnesota in May 2024. I like being a receptionist because I enjoy helping our patients. I like seeing the friendly faces and getting to see their results when they come to us.

    Some things I like to do in my free time are cooking, visiting new places, working out, and spending time with my pets and watching movies. I also enjoy crafting and trying new things in general that make me happy.

    Cailin is an Interventional Radiology (IR) Tech with 8 years of experience in providing exceptional care for patients undergoing minimally invasive procedures. She’s passionate about using cutting-edge imaging technology to assist in procedures that can make a real difference in patients’ lives.

    What excites her most about her role is knowing that the work at North Star gives patients options beyond traditional surgery, helping them heal quicker and with less discomfort. Whether she’s lending a helping hand or offering a reassuring word to a nervous patient, she’s all about making everyone feel comfortable and supported while helping the medical team achieve the best results.

    Moe is a healthcare professional with a passion for ensuring a positive and personal experience for patients. Moe is originally from Somalia, though he lived in Italy and Switzerland before settling in the U.S. with his family in 1994.

    With 17 years of dedication to the field of healthcare, Moe specializes in complex scheduling in the radiology department at the University of Minnesota. Now at North Star Vascular and Interventional Radiology, he finds fulfillment in guiding patients through their healthcare journeys, ensuring they are well-informed, comfortable, and satisfied with their experiences.

    Beyond the healthcare realm, Moe leads an active lifestyle, finding joy in biking, basketball, football and downhill skiing. Whether navigating the intricacies of patient care or hitting the slopes, his commitment to excellence and a meaningful connection with others remains at the forefront.

    As a dedicated licensed practical nurse care coordinator, Lindsay has been providing compassionate patient care since 2016. She has spent the past 3 years specializing in vascular interventional radiology, guiding patients seamlessly from consultation through follow up. Her passion lies in patient education, ensuring individuals fully understand their treatment options and feel empowered by their healthcare journey.

    I love being a part of a small practice where patient-centered care is the top priority. It is especially rewarding to work within a speciality that offers numerous non-surgical treatment options that improve patients’ quality of life without invasive procedures.

    I am a proud Minnesota native and cherish our summer months. Outside of work, I enjoy cooking, traveling and unwinding with reality TV binges.

    Originally from El Paso, Texas, I relocated to Minnesota in 2023 to be closer to my grandchild. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, cycling, reading, and watching movies, which provide a perfect balance to my professional life. My commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care drives my ongoing dedication to the nursing profession.l-being of his patients.     Physician Assistant

    Kayla is a Physician Assistant with more than 10 years of experience caring for patients. She is a member of the Minnesota Academy of PAs, the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

    She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Mary in North Dakota and her Masters in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of South Dakota. In addition to interventional radiology, she has worked in pulmonology and sleep medicine as well as in the urgent care fields.

    Kayla is passionate about patient education. It’s always been her goal to partner with patients to help them make the best decisions about their health. She is an avid Minnesota Vikings fan, loves travelling, hiking, and enjoys spending time with her husband, family and friends.e.
